At Tri-C, we meet you where you are at with flexible learning options. 

  • Online, on-ground, hybrid and on-demand classes
  • Credit for prior learning/experience
  • Class schedules ranging from 5 – 16 weeks with day, evening and weekend options available

Degree and Certificate Options

Cuyahoga Community College offers several online or blended degree and certificate programs. "Degree & Certificate" courses offer credit toward an Associate Degree. "Professional Development Certification" courses are professional post-graduate or workforce training certificates.

Course Options

When registering for a course, Tri-C uses the following class modality codes:

Online: No Set Meeting Times - students complete these fully online courses and course materials on their own time to meet listed deadlines. This may require scheduled online proctored exams.

Set Meeting Times Online - these fully online courses require participation in live web classes on specific days and times. The days/times are listed.

Blended: Online and On-Campus - these partially online courses require on-campus meeting times. The days/times are listed.

Campus: All Meetings on Campus - these classes will be taught on campus with set meeting times. The days/times are listed.

Semester Options

Tri-C offers flexible-start classes that begin throughout the semester. Choose from a variety of start dates and course lengths.  For the Fall 2022 semester, students can choose from the following:

August 29: 16-week session

August 29: 8-week session

September 12: 14-week session

October 24: 8-week session
