Transfer students are individuals who have previously attended another college or university.
If you fit this criteria, please follow the steps below:
SUBMIT
Submit the items below prior to registration
Tri-C Application
Apply to Tri-C. Once your application is processed, you will receive email notification and an acceptance letter via US Mail with your Tri-C student ID number.
Transcripts
Submit your official high school/GED/prior college transcripts. Transcripts must be dated within the year. Transcripts must be received prior to receiving financial aid and starting classes. They can be sent from your institution electronically or sent to
RegistrarOffice@tri-c.edu. If you have attended multiple colleges, we will need transcripts from each institution you have attended. Evaluation takes approximately 7 business days from the date they are received by Tri-C.
Test Scores
If you’ve taken the
ACT or
SAT, submit your test scores. Test scores are valid for two years. If you are transferring in college-level math and English, you may not need to take the placement test. See a
Tri-C Counselor for guidance.

Placement
If you do not have eligible test scores or have not been placed by your high school/college transcript, you must take Tri-C’s placement test. Please check the
Placement page to reivew your options.
Register and Pay
You must be prepared to pay or have financial aid requirements completed at the time of registration. Registration can be completed via
My Tri-C Space.
Student Convocation
Take Student Convocation to familarize yourself with student resources and personnel on campus.
Sign in to my Tri-C space
Sign in to my Tri-C space. As soon as your application is processed, the College will generate your my Tri-C space account. Here, you will obtain important information regarding registration, financial aid and course planning. You can also access your student email through my Tri-C space. Check your email regularly for important updates.
- Go to http://my.tri-c.edu.
- Click Change Your Password to create a password.
- Enter your Tri-C ID (S#) and click Continue.
- Enter your date of birth as your old password (Use m/d/yyyy format with no leading zeros.)
- Create a new password and reenter it.
- Click the "Change" button to be redirected to the my Tri-C space login page.
- Log in using your Tri-C ID and the password you just created.
(You will need to create a new password every 120 days.)
