Health Professions Application Process

Step 1

Apply to Tri-C, if you haven't already

  • Visit tri-c.edu/apply to identify your steps to apply.
  • Attend New Student Orientation and participate in Tri-C’s First Year Experience (if applicable).
  • Register for classes.

Step 2

Health career exploration

  • Explore the list of health professions programs and related information at tri-c.edu/healthprofessions.
  • Check program-specific admission requirements, program status and program sequence.
  • Email bob.madison@tri-c.edu to request an appointment to explore program options within the School of Nursing and Health Professions.

Step 3

Develop a health professions program admissions plan

  • While logged into your my Tri-C space account, complete and submit the form at tri-c.edu/hc.
  • Meet with a Tri-C academic counselor to develop an academic plan to complete program prerequisites.
  • Complete program prerequisites as required.

 Step 4

Apply to your health professions program of interest

  • Check your Tri-C email account regularly for vital information about your program admission progress.
  • Some programs will provide specific guidance for submitting additional information.

 Step 5

Program onboarding

  • Continue to check your Tri-C email for information on your admission status to your program.
  • If required, follow any additional instructions to accept and reserve placement for your program.
  • Attend the mandatory program orientation.
  • Notify the program manager/director in writing if your plans to start the program change.

If you have already applied to Tri-C and are a current student at the College, request an appointment with David Karban, program manager for the School of Nursing and Health Professions, at david.karban@tri-c.edu.
