Industry-Recognized Transfer Assurance Guides (ITAG)

Students earning agreed upon industry-recognized credentials may receive college-level credit from Tri-C. These ITAGS are based upon the knowledge, skills and competencies gained through credential attainment, regardless of where the learning for the credential took place. In some instances, ITAGs will overlap with other transfer initiatives. This will expand access to other statewide transfer agreements (CTAGs, MTAGs and TAGs) but not replace them.

ITAG Credit Awarding Details

Please see the Tri-C catalog for a list of Tri-C approved ITAGS and the Ohio Department of Higher Education webpage to learn how to receive credit for each individual ITAG. Credit for ITAGS will be awarded to students, provided Tri-C offers an equivalent course and the student takes the correct steps to receive the credit.
