Financial Resources

Tri-C scholarships cover a wide variety of majors and demographics and are based on financial need, merit, employment status or other criteria.

Credit for Prior Learning is Degree credit awarded for demonstrated relevant college-level education acquired through nontraditional schooling, work or other life experience. This can save money on tuition and time toward certification or degree completion.

Tri-C offer multiple ways to assist students in paying off past due balances to the college.

Students may earn money through a work-study award as a part of their financial aid package.

The Pantry is an on-campus resource that provides students with perishable/not perishable food items to support their pursuit of success.

After students complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), Tri-C awards grants and work-study employment in the Student Financial Aid and Scholarships office.

Allows students to manage tuition payments in a way that works for their personal budget.

This program provides free assistance and connection to food assistance, housing assistance, child care, utility assistance and health care needs.

U-Pass, which is short for “Universal Pass,” allows Tri-C students to ride free of charge on all Greater Cleveland RTA buses and rapid trains during all academic semesters/sessions.

This program is to help students overcome unforeseen financial challenges that would affect their ability to persist in their studies.

Tri-C’s Student Laptop program allows eligible students to purchase a laptop at a special discount.

Students may be able to pay tuition and fees using funds from external resources such as employer or organizational affiliations.

Through its Veterans Initiative, we have customized our support services to serve those who have served so proudly. Whether you’re a discharged veteran, still serving on active duty, or a member of the Guard or Reserve, you and your family are welcomed at Tri-C and may eligible for financial benefits.
