Course Drop and Withdraw Guidelines
If you decide not to attend or complete a course, it is your responsibility to officially drop or withdraw by the appropriate deadline.
Non-attendance may also result in your being dropped from the course. If you remain enrolled, you will be responsible for tuition charges and may receive a failing grade.
Before You Withdraw
- Withdrawing from a course may affect your academic progress, financial aid or other benefits. Visit Admissions and Financial Services to understand your options and available support before withdrawing.

How to Drop or Withdraw
- You can drop or withdraw from a course through my Tri-C space or in person or via email through Admissions and Financial Services. Review the dates below carefully, as drop and withdrawal deadlines vary by course and term.
Post-Semester Deadlines
- Grade disputes must be submitted within 60 days after the end of the semester.
- Late withdrawal requests must be submitted within 30 days after the end of the semester.
2026 Fall Withdrawal Schedule
If you withdraw from a class, you may still be responsible for all or a percentage of the tuition and fee charges.

If you paid the tuition and fees in full and have no other outstanding balance, your payment minus the percentage you are responsible for will be refunded to you. The refund process will begin two weeks after the start of term. The College has 14 days to process your Financial Aid refund. Contact your campus Student Financial Aid office to determine how a withdrawal will affect your aid eligibility.
