Faculty Mandatory Days

 

Section 6.10 Mandatory Days: Faculty’s attendance is required on six (6) days, subject to terms of this contract governing faculty absence. These six (6) days are: two (2) convocation days, two (2) campus days, one ( 1) faculty colloquium day and one ( 1) commencement day. Each full time faculty member must provide a full day of professional service on the mandatory contract days.

  • Spring 2022 Convocation: Wednesday, May 18
  • Fall 2022 Convocation: Tuesday, Aug. 23
  • Spring 2023 Convocation: Wednesday, May 17

Campus Days

  • Fall 2022:
    • Eastern Campus and Westshore Campus: Wednesday, Aug. 24
    • Metropolitan Campus and Western Campus: Thursday, Aug. 25
  • Spring 2023: Wednesday, Jan. 11 OR Thursday, Jan. 12

Colloquium

Commencement

  • Spring 2022 Commencement: Thursday, June 2 at 3 p.m., Progressive Field
  • Note: Commencement is not a mandatory day for the ‘21-‘22 academic year. Faculty are encouraged to participate.
