Call for Proposals
We invite you to submit a proposal for Unbound, an interdisciplinary event that celebrates the full spectrum of scholarly exploration. Proposals are due by 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025.
Presenter Criteria
In the spirit of this faculty-focused event, the Colloquium committee welcomes full-time, adjunct and workforce instructors from higher-ed institutions to submit proposals. Deans, program managers and other administrative staff are encouraged to present alongside a faculty lead.
Proposal Submission
Submit your proposal(s) by Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025. Late proposals will not be accepted.
Include the following information with your proposal submission(s):
- Intended Audience
- Discipline-Specific
- Multidisciplinary
- Tri-C-Specific Technology or Programs
- Presentation Title (10-word limit)
- Description (100-word limit)
- Explanation (100-200 words): Please provide a more detailed explanation to help the review committee understand your session's content, goals and relevance.
- Outcomes: Provide three specific outcomes for your session, completing the following prompt: "At the end of this session, attendees will be able to..."
- Presenter(s) name(s), title, academic discipline(s), campus(es) or affiliation (if external to Tri-C) and email(s).
Proposal Acceptance
Proposals will undergo a blind review by the Colloquium committee based on this proposal rubric. Reviewers will use the rubric as a guide but will take a holistic approach when evaluating proposals. While individual components may be rated, final selection decisions will consider the overall quality of submissions and the full pool of proposals, rather than relying solely on rubric scores. Status notifications will be made in early November.
