Career Peers
Career Peers are approachable, student‑to‑student resources who connect fellow students with career development support and opportunities. They work alongside Career Success Coaches to assist with quick resume and cover letter reviews, answer career related questions and help students use Handshake to explore internships and jobs.
Career Peers also support Career Marketplace outreach by assisting with presentations, engaging with faculty and promoting career resources across campus.
Aigerim M. is a Psychology major who hopes to become a counselor and personal coach. With experience in business, tutoring and photography, she loves helping students grow in confidence and discover their strengths.
Amari I. studies Urban Studies and is passionate about HIV education, harm reduction and community advocacy. They are dedicated to connecting students with resources that support both personal and community well-being.
Gordon F. is a Cybersecurity major with leadership experience managing an Aldi store in Australia. He enjoys helping others while pursuing his passion for keeping digital spaces safe and secure.
Megane N. is a Nursing student working toward becoming a registered nurse. Her background in customer service and teamwork helps her create a welcoming and supportive environment for students.
Micaela E. plans to continue her accounting studies at Cleveland State University after completing her Associate of Arts. Her experience in customer service and youth camps has shaped her strong communication and teamwork skills.
Priya P. is an international Nursing student from Nepal who hopes to work in the ICU or NICU one day. She enjoys supporting students and helping them feel more confident about their future paths.
Roberto R. is originally from Honduras, studies Business Technology and has experience in manufacturing and higher education. He enjoys supporting students, collaborating with others and spending time with his family.
Uma C. is a Nursing student with dreams of becoming a midwife. Inspired by her experience witnessing childbirth, she is passionate about compassionate care and about helping students feel supported and empowered.
