Tri-C Internship Program
The Career Marketplace is excited to announce that the Tri-C Internship Program is now a year-round initiative, providing students with greater access to paid, on-campus internships while supporting departments across the College. To maximize the number of internship opportunities available, program funding will now be dedicated exclusively to student wages. As a result, the program will no longer provide tuition assistance or a book stipend. This change enables us to connect more students with valuable hands-on experience throughout the year and expand the program's impact Collegewide.
Benefits of Participating
- Earn competitive pay at $15.60 per hour
- Gain hands-on experience related to your field of study
- Build professional skills and strengthen your resume
- Complete a structured 100-hour professional experience

For Tri-C Intern Hosts
Interested in hosting a student intern? To be considered, internships must align with a Tri-C program (academic school or workforce academy) and provide meaningful support for students' career and professional development. The Career Marketplace team will review all internship requests, and departments will be notified of the approval decision.
Internship requests will be reviewed and evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Is the internship intentionally designed as a structured experiential learning opportunity rather than primarily to meet staffing needs?
- Does the internship provide opportunities for students to apply technical knowledge and skills gained through their specific academic program?
- Does the internship support the development of professional competencies relevant to the student's field of study rather than focusing primarily on routine or clerical tasks?
- Does the internship align with Tri-C Vision 2030?
Submit a request to create an internship opportunity for the upcoming semester.
