You Don't Have to Know Your Career Yet
Career Exploration Labs are not about finding one "right" career. They're about asking better questions, exploring your options and making informed decisions.
During the lab, you'll:
- Discover more about yourself by exploring your interests and Holland Code results
- Determine what matters to you in a career, including salary, schedule, location, flexibility, work environment and growth
- Explore a career you're curious about and see how well it matches your interests and priorities
- Identify what you still need to learn before making a career decision
- Prepare to take the next step in your career exploration

2. Take the 60-question Career Coach assessment
The assessment takes about 5-10 minutes and is designed to identify your interests. There are no right or wrong answers, and it is not a knowledge or skills test.
Tips for Taking the Assessment
As you rate each activity, keep these three things in mind:
- Imagine doing the activity for just one day. Don't think about whether you'd want to do it every day for the rest of your life.
- Don't worry about whether you know how to do it. Imagine you'll be taught everything you need to know.
- Don't think about salary. Pay and earning potential are important, and we'll talk about them during the Career Exploration Lab. For now, focus on what interests you.

By the end of the lab, you'll have a better understanding of:
- Who you are
- What matters to you
- Which career possibilities interest you
- What you still need to learn
- What you'll do next
