Explore your interests and find a program that puts you on the path to a bright future. Tri-C offers both credit and non-credit courses as well as certificate programs in most career fields.
More than 1,000 credit courses are offered each semester in more than 200 career and technical programs. Tri-C also grants short-term certificates, certificates of proficiency and post-degree professional certificates.
Tri-C's Workforce Training provides both non-credit and credit training for individuals and businesses to assist individuals with skills leading to employment. Tri-C's Corporate College provides professional development and corporate training opportunities.
Tri-C offers a variety of affordable and convenient community programs for both adults and youth. These programs are designed to promote individual development.
The Dance Academy is designed for students with previous dance experience. Participants train in the fundamentals of ballet and modern dance, floor work, creative improvisation, performance development, choreography and composition skills.
Students are grouped by skill level during placement auditions, they will receive a specific weekly schedule based on their level. Rehearsals take place on select weeknights and Saturdays, culminating in a final performance at the end of the semester. Students will receive further information upon registration.
Step 2: Attend Placements on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025. If your child is returning, please have them attend based on the level they were last in during the spring semester. If your child is new, please have them attend based on the ages listed at the following times:
10:30 -11 a.m. | Twinkle Toes (new students who are 4-5 years old)
11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. | Intro (new students who are 6-10)
1:30 - 3:30 p.m. | Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced (new students who are 11-18)
Location: Tri-C's Metro Campus 2809 Woodland Ave. Cleveland, Ohio 44115. Park in Lot 5 (corner of Woodland Avenue and E. 30th Street) and enter through the Center for Creative Arts Entrance.
Step 3: Wait to Receive Placement Results. Once we receive placement results from our instructors, you will receive an email with your student’s placement level, registration information, the fall class schedule, calendar and dance attire information for the Dance Academy.
Dance Mastery (Ages 6-18)
Classes begin Jan. 20, 2026 | Free
The Dance Mastery community program introduces students to the world of dance. Participants will explore their creativity through a mastery-based approach to basic ballet and modern dance. Contemporary techniques, creative improvisation, performance development, choreography and composition skills will help students develop coordination, musicality, strength, flexibility and alignment, culminating in a final performance at the end of the spring semester.
Classes will be held at two different locations: Broadway School of Arts and Music and Warrensville Community Baptist Church. You can sign up for classes based on the location of your choice.
