Academic Success

Supporting Students. Strengthening Success.

Academic Success at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) is dedicated to ensuring students have the resources, support, and services needed to thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Unlike Academic Affairs, which oversees academic programs and faculty, Academic Success focuses on student support services that enhance learning, personal growth, and overall well-being.

Academic Success oversees key student support services, including Counseling and the Learning Commons, ensuring students have access to academic guidance, personal support and learning resources throughout their college journey.

Our Approach to Student Success

Academic Success is grounded in a student-centered philosophy that recognizes success is influenced by academic, personal and life circumstances. Our campus-based deans and staff collaborate to provide coordinated support that helps students:

  • Navigate academic challenges and transitions
  • Develop skills for college and career success
  • Access tutoring, academic support and learning resources
  • Address personal concerns that may impact academic performance
  • Persist from enrollment to completion

By aligning services and outreach efforts, Academic Success helps create a supportive environment where students can thrive academically and personally.
