The Institute for Community Impact leads the College in its commitment to meeting individuals where they are, within their own communities. By integrating academic resources, outreach and research, the institute creates inclusive and impactful educational pathways for underserved populations.
Under the leadership of Melissa Burrows, Ph.D., vice president and chief community impact officer, the institute fosters a culture of engagement and partnership through a multi-pathway educational approach. This approach is designed to serve adult learners of all backgrounds and career stages, with a focus on long-term community and workforce impact.
