Tri-C's Workforce Training provides both non-credit and credit training for individuals and businesses to assist individuals with skills leading to employment. Tri-C's Corporate College provides professional development and corporate training opportunities.

Program Overview
The Adult Diploma Program at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) offers Ohio residents age 18 and older the opportunity to earn a state-issued high school diploma while completing an industry-recognized workforce credential. This dual-purpose, 2-for-1 program is designed to enhance employment prospects by combining academic achievement with career training.
Participants must complete both components to graduate.
To enroll in the Adult Diploma Program, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Have not received a high school or GED diploma
Live in the state of Ohio
To receive a state of Ohio-issued high school diploma and in-demand certificate, you must:
Complete Core Strategies for Math (CSM)
Achieve a total score of 12 on the ACT WorkKeys® Certification Assessment
Fulfill all requirements necessary to obtain an in-demand industry-recognized certification.

Accelerate your career in the ever-growing automotive industry. Gain hands-on experience and cutting-edge skills to diagnose, repair and maintain electrical, fuel, emissions and mechanical systems. Our programs combine classroom learning, lab work and real-world training to prepare you for success.
This coursework prepares students for the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification tests. All program curricula are certified by the ASE Education Foundation in all eight ASE categories at the MAST (Master Automobile Service Technology) level.

Certified Nursing Assistants play a critical role within the health care industry. As a member of the health care team, CNAs are the frontline staff because they have the most direct contact with patients.
Work Environment
Certified Nursing Assistants work in a variety of settings like in a patient’s home, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, residential care facilities, clinics, day care centers, assisted living facilities and etc. CNAs improve their patients’ well-being by assisting them with personal care and monitoring progress with their recovery goals. They work as Care Partners, Patient Care Assistants, Caregivers, Clinical Assistants, Home Health Aides, Resident Assistants and more.

Tri-C now offers a non-credit, short-term Certified Production Technician (CPT) certificate. The role of a manufacturing production technician is to ensure that a quality product is delivered quickly and according to safety, environmental, and health procedures and regulations. These individuals set up, start up, operate, and shut down manufacturing equipment.
This program trains and addresses core technical competencies of higher skilled production workers in all sectors of manufacturing. Certificates are awarded to individuals who pass any of the four modules based on the scores provided below for the secondary market.
Individuals interested in a career in multi-skilled manufacturing/maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems used in industrial applications. The CPT program consists of training around four modules, each module is addressed with a separate assessment in addition with 40 classroom hours

The Tri-C Transportation Center is unique. Unlike many other truck driving schools, Tri-C offers small class sizes, which allow us to give more attention during training. Furthermore, all of our trucks have been completely redesigned to enhance student safety and learning as we ensure our students train in a safe and healthy environment.
Training consists of 160 hours of classroom and hands-on training. Training provides instruction on driver safety, transporting cargo safety, air brakes, combination vehicles, tank vehicles, and hazardous materials. Training includes pre-trip vehicle inspection, vehicle control, and on-road driving (required for skills testing).
We also introduce students to the new CSA methodology for scoring carriers and drivers, where any safety violations are organized into the seven BASICs.
This program is licensed by the Ohio Department of Public Safety as a CDL Driver Training School.

A Community Health Worker (CHW) is defined by the American Public Health Association as “a frontline public health worker who is a trusted member and/or has an unusually close understanding of the community served. This trusting relationship enables the worker to serve as a liaison/link/intermediary between health/social services and the community to facilitate access to services and improve the quality and cultural competence of service delivery.”
Work Environment
Community Health Workers work collaboratively with patients to help them access essential community resources and resolve challenges they may face in the community. They may work in various settings like community health centers, non-profit organizations, public health clinics, private clinics, public housing organizations, hospitals, client’s homes, faith-based organizations, employer or sponsoring agencies, and etc.

This program offers training for both new and experienced computer numerical control (CNC) personnel. Students new to CNC can complete the entire program to learn the basic CNC operator skills necessary for entry-level employment in manufacturing and earn a CNC Technology certificate. Experienced CNC personnel can enroll in any of the CNC Certificates courses they choose to upgrade their skills. An assessment is given at the end of each course. A score of 70% or better is required to receive a certificate for each course. Students successfully completing all five courses will also earn a CNC Technology certificate for the entire program.

This program equips graduates with entry-level skills in classical and advanced culinary technique and includes ServSafe Manager certification in food safety and sanitation.

The demand for qualified dispatchers continues to grow. Dispatchers work for police departments, fire departments, law enforcement agencies, colleges and universities, hospitals, ambulance services, telematics call centers and transportation/freight companies.

This program is designed for individuals interested in pursuing a career as an Emergency Medical Technician. It prepares students for entry level positions with ambulance and Emergency Medical Services (EMS). As many EMS services are a component of fire departments, it is also important for those pursuing a career as a firefighter. Students who successfully complete this program are eligible to take the National Registry of EMT examination. Successful completion of this examination is necessary for State of Ohio EMT certification.

This training program, in partnership with George Brown College, addresses the rapidly growing need for workers skilled in diagnosing, servicing and repairing high-voltage electric vehicles and commercial charging stations.

This program is your gateway to mastering stick, MIG, TIG and oxy-fuel techniques, setting you on the path to a rewarding career. Our comprehensive training equips you with fundamental skills and offers the potential to earn three nationally recognized certifications.
At the conclusion of the MIG, TIG, and stick welding classes, students submit a test piece (between 1F and 4G) for certification evaluation.

The Supply Chain, Logistics Technology and Warehouse Program at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) recognizes individuals who demonstrate mastery of the core competencies of material handling at the front line (supervision). This program assists logistics workers in finding higher wage jobs and helps employers ensure their workers are capable of increasing the company’s productivity and competitiveness.
The Supply Chain, Logistics Technology and Warehouse lab curriculum provides students the opportunity to learn in a practical application environment. During hands-on warehouse activities, students directly and safely simulate roles and responsibilities while using warehouse equipment and technology.
