Nursing 1010 Prerequisites

Step Four: Registration

All students enrolled in NURS 1000 will receive an email from the Nursing Center of Excellence to survey your interest in taking NURS 1010. Please click the link and complete the survey to be considered for entry into NURS 1010. Additionally, you will need to submit your documents within the established time frames of the semester to which you are seeking entry into NURS 1010. Please consult the charts below. After reviewing all of the submitted documents as outlined above, the Nursing Center of Excellence will reach out to all students eligible to take NURS 1010.

Please note that all requirements must be complete by the established deadlines to be authorized by our department to register for the course. Registration for NURS 1010 will NOT occur when college registration opens. You cannot register until we authorize you. Please be patient with us. We will contact you once authorizations have been assigned. 

Please follow the required dates below to determine when to start the Background Check (BCI) process, HESI Exam and Immunization/Health Requirements.

Failure to comply with these dates may result in the need to complete an additional Background Check (BCI) at your expense and delay admission into NURS 1010-Introduction to Patient Care Concepts.
