Encore 55+ Learning Celebrating 50 YearsNeighborhood Scholars takes Encore 55+ Learning into the community with off-campus courses and tours presented in cooperation with community partners. These are one-time or short-series opportunities held throughout Greater Cleveland. Past stops have included the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Cleveland Cultural Gardens, Lake View Cemetery, places of worship, the Rockefeller Park Greenhouse and the Cleveland Public Library.

  • Various programs are offered throughout the Fall (September), Winter (January) and Spring (March) sessions.
  • The dates, times, and fees vary based on program.


Winter and Spring 2026 Registration Now Open

You must obtain a student ID (S-number) and password before registering.
  • Days: Varies (Monday - Thursday)
  • Dates: Varies (Jan. - May. 2026)
  • Times: Varies (9 a.m. - 3 p.m.)
  • Class Lengths: 1-3 hours
  • Fee: $20-$99 for each course
  • Locations: Throughout Greater Cleveland

Attend our New Student Orientation to learn more about our program and be provided with a tour of the Encore Campus Fridays space. An individual from Enrollment Services will also be on-site to assist with registration.
