Welcome to Encore 55+ Learning

Encore is Celebrating 50 YearsThank you for celebrating our 50th Anniversary with us!

We are excited you have chosen to learn more about our program! Encore 55+ Learning started in 1975 and has been a premier provider of education to individuals 55 and older. We continue to thrive due to our community's desire for high-quality and affordable lifelong learning opportunities.

Three ways to learn during Fall (September), Winter (January) and Spring (March):

  1. Encore Campus Fridays: Experience Encore at the Eastern Campus and Western Campus for seven weeks from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m ($99 for up to 6 courses per campus) and at Brunswick University Center from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. ($49.99 for up to 2 courses).
  2. Encore On-the-Go: Learn from your home via Webex at various times for seven weeks ($30 per course).
  3. Neighborhood Scholars: This program brings Greater Cleveland to you through community partners ($10-$99).

Winter/Spring 2026 Registration Opens in December

  • You must obtain a student ID (S-number) and password before registering.
  • New Westshore Campus Days! 90-minute classes for $18.

Need Assistance? Registration Assistance Days are coming soon.

Enrollment Services will host days at the Eastern and Western campuses to assist you with registering for the Encore program.

Attend our New Student Orientation to learn more about our program and be provided with a tour of the Encore Campus Fridays space. An individual from Enrollment Services will also be on-site to assist with registration.
