Welcome New Encore Student

Welcome to Encore 55+ Learning

We are excited you have chosen to learn more about our program!

Encore 55+ Learning started in 1975 and has been a premier provider of education to individuals 55 and older. We continue to thrive due to our community's desire for high-quality and affordable lifelong learning opportunities through these three areas:

  1. Encore Campus Fridays: On-Campus Learning
  2. Encore On-the-Go: Virtual Learning
  3. Neighborhood Scholars: Greater Cleveland Exploration

Campus Fridays

  • Length of sessions: Seven weeks
  • Number of sessions: Fall, winter and spring semesters
  • Class length: 50 minutes
  • Days: Fridays
  • Times: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Cost: $99 for up to six courses or $30 a course

On-the-Go

  • Length of sessions: Seven weeks
  • Number of sessions: Fall, winter and spring semesters
  • Class length: 50 minutes
  • Days: Tuesdays
  • Times: 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
  • Cost: $30 a course

Neighborhood Scholars

  • Varies: View more information

We have two pricing options for Encore 55+ Learning:

  1. Bundle Option: This is available only for Encore Campus Fridays and allows students to take up to six classes for $99 total per campus.
  2. A La Carte Option: This is available for Encore Campus Fridays and Encore On-the-Go. Each class is $30.

Neighborhood Scholar pricing varies by class.

Registration and payment are required for each program within Encore 55+ Learning.

What are my next steps?

  1. Start by reviewing the classes we have available. View our current catalog here.
  2. Choose which class(es) to register for.
  3. Ready to go? 
    1. New to Encore/Tri-C: Create a new profile and obtain a Student ID Number.
    2. Returning Students: Have your S-Number and password ready.
      • Sign in here if you need to change your information.
  4. Visit the course pages to make your selection on the Encore 55+ Learning page.
    1. Paying with cash or check? Visit one of our Enrollment Centers in person.
  5. Add the classes to your cart, and process your credit card payment.

A welcome email will be sent within three days of the class start date.
