Reverse transfer is for former Tri-C students that have earned at least 20 college-level credits, maintained a 2.0 GPA when attended, then earned credits at another college. Students can take earned college credits from another institution and transfer them back to Tri-C to see if they are eligible for a certificate or an Associate Degree.
The registrar’s office will review your transcripts and email you regarding the status of your Tri-C credits and degree eligibility.
Depending upon the time in the semester, Reverse Transfer can take 3-4 weeks from the time your college transcripts have been received.
In most cases, students are awarded an Associate of Arts or an Associate of Science degree. However, you could be considered for other certificate or degree programs at the college depending upon the nature of your Tri-C and transfer credit.
