Neighborhood Scholars

Encore 55+ Learning Celebrating 50 YearsNeighborhood Scholars takes Encore 55+ Learning into the community through off‑campus courses and tours presented in cooperation with community partners. These one‑time or short‑series experiences are held throughout Greater Cleveland.

Past locations have included:

  • Cleveland Museum of Art
  • Cleveland Cultural Gardens
  • Lake View Cemetery
  • Places of worship
  • Rockefeller Park Greenhouse
  • Cleveland Public Library

Fall 2026 Session Details

  • Days: Varies (Monday - Thursday)
  • Dates: Varies
  • Times: Varies (9 a.m. - 3 p.m.)
  • Class Lengths: 1-3 hours
  • Fee: $20-$99 for each course
  • Locations: Throughout Greater Cleveland
