Access Centers

Tri-C Access Centers will connect you — easily and conveniently — with the education and job training you need to build a better future. These programs can lead to a job with family-supporting wages or put you on a path to a college degree. The Centers offer a range of services designed to meet you wherever you are in your education or career.
Cuyahoga Community College is partnering with Esperanza Inc., MetroHealth System, Olivet Housing and Community Development Corp. (an arm of Olivet Institutional Baptist Church) Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority and University Settlement.
The purpose of the Access Centers is to support individuals and families on their path to success by providing affordable as well as no-cost, community-based educational and workforce programming.
Programs
Scholarships may be available for many of these services and programs.
Workforce Success Course — Sharpen your job skills to succeed in the workplace!
- Feb. 1 – March 29, Wednesdays, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. The first class meets in person at the Tri-C Manufacturing Technology Center, 2415 Woodland Ave., Cleveland. Remainder of classes are a combination of on-line and in person.
- Feb. 1 – March 29, Wednesdays, 5:30-7 p.m. This class meets in person at Esperanza, Inc
- Feb. 2 – March 30, Thursdays, 5:30-7 p.m. First class meets in person at the Tri-C Manufacturing Technology Center, located at 2415 Woodland Ave., Cleveland. Remainder of classes are a combination of on-line and in person.
Basic Computer Skills — Learn basic computer skills like using email and websites, sharing files and more. Includes Microsoft Office. Walk-in services available at Esperanza.
Microsoft Office Skills — lmprove your skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Available at MetroHealth.
Supply Chain Logistics — Learn skills needed to work in a warehouse environment including quality control, equipment and technology. Available at Olivet.
Ohio Options — Free adult education for those seeking a high school diploma or GED/HSE, needing to improve their English (ESOL) skills or preparing for a job, college or other training.
Women in Transition — Personal development, career exploration and more for women going through any life transition. Available at Esperanza and Olivet.
