College Credit Plus Placement Testing
College Credit Plus (CCP) Placement Testing
Effective Academic Year 2018-2019, high school students interested in College Credit Plus (CCP) must be considered eligible to participate. Beginning Summer 2020, the State has determined eligibility as having an 3.0 (unweighted) accumulative GPA. If student does not meet the GPA requirement, student can submit qualifying ACT/SAT scores or take the ALEKS math placement for consideration.
Once a student is eligible, students who wish to participate in the College Credit Plus program at Tri-C also need to have a placement test score. English placement scores are required for participation in all Tri-C courses. Math placement scores are only required if you plan to take a course with a math prerequisite.
Students should also review the My Online Readiness Assessment (M.O.R.E) prior to the start of the term.
