Physical Fitness Assessment

Applicants must complete and pass all three physical assessment (PFA) events (situps, pushups and 1.5 mile run) during the same testing session based on the Cooper Standard 15th percentile to be considered for acceptance into the Tri-C Police Academy. If you are injured or recovering from an injury, you will not be tested and will need to schedule a date when you are completely recovered. To graduate from the Police Academy, cadets must exit at the 50th percentile.
