Information Technology Programs
Cleveland Codes (offered Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 only)
Cisco certification ensures high standards of technical expertise. Achieving Cisco certification at any level means joining the ranks of skilled network professionals who have earned recognition and respect in the industry. The first three levels of certification and specialization that Cisco provides are for networking and security professionals and may follow several different tracks to meet individual needs. There are many paths to Cisco certification, but only one requirement: passing one or more exams to demonstrate knowledge and skill.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Vol. I
Comprehensive associate-level training focused on the solutions and technologies needed to implement and administer a broad range of modern networking and IT infrastructure. Through a series of hands-on exercises, participants learn and develop the skills needed to master real-world configurations and troubleshooting activities. Use Cisco ISR 4300/4506/3560/3750/3850/C9300 series routers and switches to apply the Cisco Internetwork Operating System (IOS) and understand the interactions and network functions of firewalls, wireless controllers and access points, IPv6 and basic network security.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Vol. II
Prepare for the second step on your path toward CCNA routing and switching certification. Hands-on labs and lectures expand your knowledge of the installation, configuration (OSPF in IPv4 and IPv6), operation and troubleshooting of medium-sized routed and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN.
Cisco Cybersecurity Operations Fundamentals (CBROPS)
This course prepares students for careers in cybersecurity operations. Participants learn the fundamental skills of monitoring, detecting, investigating, analyzing and responding to security events, thereby protecting systems from cybersecurity risks, threats and vulnerabilities.
Cisco Network Security
Possible harm to a company's data can come from many different sources. The Cisco Network Security class prepares the student to protect a company’s data from theft, damage or disruption. Through hands-on labs and lectures, skills are developed so the student will be able to design, implement and support security for network devices and ensure their integrity.
Cisco Enterprise Network Core Technologies (ENCOR 350-401)
This course gives participants the skills and knowledge needed to implement core enterprise infrastructure, including dual-stack (IPv4 and IPv6) architecture, virtualization, network assurance, security and automation.
Implementing Cisco Enterprise Advanced Routing and Services (ENARSI 300-410)
This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to work in the area of Cisco technical routing and switching. Prepare for the ENARSI 300-410 exam, which certifies a candidate's knowledge of implementing and troubleshooting advanced routing technologies and services including Layer 3; VPN services; and infrastructure security, services and automation.
Health Care Programs
Comprehensive Patient Access Specialist
Become a certified patient access specialist. Your professional certification as a Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) by the National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM) validates that your knowledge and skills align with industry standards.
State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)
STNAs play a critical role within the health care industry. As members of the health care team, STNAs have the most direct contact with patients. STNAs work in a variety of settings, such as rehabilitation centers, hospitals, residential care facilities, clinics, day care centers, assisted living facilities or in a patient’s home. STNAs improve their patients’ well-being by assisting them with personal care and monitoring progress toward their recovery goals. They work as care partners, patient care assistants, caregivers, clinical assistants, home health aides, resident assistants and more.
