More than 1,000 credit courses are offered each semester in more than 200 career and technical programs. Tri-C also grants short-term certificates, certificates of proficiency and post-degree professional certificates.
Tri-C's Workforce Training provides both non-credit and credit training for individuals and businesses to assist individuals with skills leading to employment. Tri-C's Corporate College provides professional development and corporate training opportunities.
Tri-C offers a variety of affordable and convenient community programs for both adults and youth. These programs are designed to promote individual development.
The Associate of Arts in Art History is based on the Ohio Guaranteed Transfer Pathway in Art History. It is recommended for students planning to start at Tri-C and transfer to a four-year institution to major in Art History.

Tri-C's on-campus Art History courses incorporate Meta Quest 3 VR headsets, giving students the unparalleled opportunity to explore the history of human culture through an interactive lens. Creating a dynamic and multisensory learning environment, the use of VR equipment allows our students to formally analyze, interpret and personally connect with historical landmarks and site-specific artworks around the world.
Through virtual explorations of ancient sites and interactive 3D art experiences, students connect history with innovation while building creative and technological skills for careers in museums, galleries, art education, digital media, and more.

Interested in exploring the professional art world, museums and cultural preservation? This summer, gain hands-on experience and professional mentorship through a 10-week paid internship at one of the region’s leading art conservation institutions!
About the 10-Week Summer Program: Under the guidance of ICA–Cleveland’s Special Projects Manager, Tri-C interns will engage directly with the processes of art conservation, handling, and display preparation. You will visit major Cleveland museums, connect with professionals in the field, and observe conservation projects in progress, all while gaining firsthand insight into the preservation and presentation of historic and contemporary artworks.
What You’ll Learn and Do:
Art handling, packing, and installation.
Technical skills - from stretching canvases to shaping plexiglass mounts.
Museum operations and conservation practices.

The Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage invites Tri-C students to apply for a hands-on summer 2026 internship designed to provide practical experience in museum work and nonprofit cultural institutions. This unique opportunity allows interns to work alongside museum professionals while gaining insight into the daily operations of a nationally recognized museum dedicated to history, culture, and community engagement.
About the 10-Week Summer Program: During this internship, you will gain exposure to multiple facets of museum practice, which may include collections care, research, public engagement, and institutional development. Through guided projects and mentorship, you will develop transferable skills that can be applied to careers in museums, archives, arts administration, marketing, education, and related fields.

What does it take to curate an installation at the Cleveland Museum of Art? This paid, collaborative internship invites a select group of Tri-C students to go behind the scenes of museum work. Interns will gain hands-on experience with the CMA’s prestigious Education Art Collection containing 10,000 authentic works spanning 6,000 years of global human history.
About the Internship: Stepping into the shoes of a curator, interns will work alongside museum professionals to gain hands-on experience in exhibition development, art handling, and display preparation. Guided by the CMA’s Director of the Education Art Collection, Tri-C students will help create installations, choose objects for display, research and write interpretive content for a public exhibition while gaining real-world insight into curatorial practices at a world-class museum.
What You’ll Learn and Do:
Curate and develop a museum installation from concept to display.
Research, select, and write about artworks from a global education collection.
Work hands-on with museum professionals in art handling and exhibition preparation.
Program Details:
Duration: Fall 2026 (September – December)
Workload: Approximately 40 hours total to be completed across the Fall semester; hybrid format with independent research and on-site museum work.
Paid Internship: Generously supported by the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Center.
