Academic Excellence Scholarship

Academic Excellence Scholarship:
The Academic Excellence Scholarship is awarded to new high school graduates from Cuyahoga County and neighboring counties each year. The scholarship provides awards up to $3,000 annually to be used for tuition and fees with a minimum of nine credit hours each semester for two consecutive years of study at Tri-C. Students must have a 2.75 high school grade point average on a 4.0 or higher scale and demonstrate excellence in academics, leadership, and service.

Graduates of the Class of 2025 with strong interest in attending Cuyahoga Community College for Fall 2025 should apply for admission to the College, complete the 2025-2026 Free Application for Federal Student Aid and the Tri-C Scholarship Application.

Each academic year, 25 candidates with be chosen to receive the Academic Excellence scholarship.
