The Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Humanities Center
Think well, change the world.
As the home of Tri-C's Honors and Scholars programs, the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Humanities Center supports students on their paths to becoming civic-minded leaders within their communities who have thought deeply about the human experience. We also support and promote faculty engagement and scholarship as it connects to the humanities, leadership and civic engagement. In addition, we work with community partners throughout Northeast Ohio to develop experiential learning opportunities and public events that enhance the region's economic and cultural vitality.
We believe that no matter a student's academic path, exposure to the humanities is crucial for developing critical thinking and leadership — skills that are essential after graduation, regardless of whether a student transfers to a four-year institution or enters the workforce directly.
