General Complaint or Concern

Emergency Reporting

If you have witnessed an incident or have a concern that involves the immediate safety of another individual please contact emergency services immediately. If you are on campus and the incident is occurring on campus, please contact Campus Police and Security Services at 216-987-4911 (emergencies) or 216-987-4325 (non-emergencies). If you are on campus and the incident is occurring off campus, please also contact Campus Police and Security Services. If you are off campus, please dial 911.

General Complaint and Concern Form

This form is for use by both enrolled students and non-enrolled community members. Whether faculty, staff, student or visitor, you have the right to voice your concern when you have an experience that you feel is less than satisfactory. The dean of Student Affairs can help resolve concerns in a manner that respects the rights of all involved. If you have an unresolved issue with a College process or procedure, click the link at the bottom of this page and complete the form with as much detail as possible. Completing this form ensures that the official College complaint/concern process will be followed and that you will be notified of the outcome. While we can never guarantee a particular outcome, we can help you through this process.

Students wishing to address an academic concern that does not involve a recorded final grade should follow the steps listed in the Student Complaint Procedure within the Student Handbook. Many problems can be resolved with a conversation, so the first step in addressing an academic concern is to initiate the matter orally with the faculty member or other employee who is the focus of the complaint within a reasonable timeframe. If you need assistance in preparing to complete this step, you may consult with the Student Affairs office. If you are not satisfied after having that conversation, please use the link below to provide a written complaint. Academic complaints will be routed to the appropriate party to facilitate the next steps in the Student Complaint Procedure.

Are you looking to dispute your final recorded grade? Visit the grade dispute page.
