The Pharmacy Technology Program at Cuyahoga Community College is no longer accepting new program applications and will be discontinued effective Dec. 22, 2024. Current program students must complete their pharmacy technology courses by the end of Fall 2024. About Pharmacy Technology at Tri-C:
The Pharmacy Technology associate degree program prepares students for a career as a pharmacy technician in a variety of hospital or retail locations.
- Two-year program includes medical terminology, medicinal plant chemistry and/or microbiology, bioethics and computer applications.
- Gain a wide variety of knowledge ranging from the art of compounding a prescription and reading prescriptions to understanding the laws governing pharmacy practice
- Includes hands-on practicum experience in three different of pharmacy settings.
