The Community Art Show

Sept. 15 - Oct. 16, 2025

The Community Art Show is a non-juried exhibition celebrating the diverse creativity of the greater Cleveland area. All local artists – students, professionals, and amateurs – are invited to submit a single two-dimensional (wall-hanging) artwork. If that artwork meets the criteria below, your work will be included in the exhibition.

Opening Reception
Wednesday, Sept. 17  |  5 - 7 p.m.

Criteria for Submissions

  • Artists may submit only one artwork, which must be no larger than 24 inches in any direction.
  • All artwork submitted must be designed to hang on a wall. Paintings, drawings, prints, and photos must be framed with proper hanging hardware present (hanging wire preferred). Unframed paintings will be accepted, so long as they are on canvas or panel with wire attached.
  • All artwork must be labeled on the back with artist name, title of piece, media (for example, oil on canvas), year of creation, and sale price (if you choose to sell).
  • Gallery West will take a 10% commission on all sales made over $100.
  • Ceramic pieces and sculptures will be accepted, so long as they are designed to be installed on a wall. They must arrive ready-to-install, with all proper hardware and instructions included.
  • If these criteria are not met, Gallery West will not include your artwork in the exhibition.
