Summer Camps

Whether your child is a young performer or a budding engineer, Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) Summer Camps will help them realize their full potential. Choose from more 20 camps for ages 4-18 at one of our campuses.

Registration
If you are a parent, please create a new account with your child's information. You will need to provide their DOB and SSN as well as general contact information. You can include your email. Please contact the Enrollment Center at 216-987-6000 (Option 1) with questions.

Refund policy
A 100% refund is given if a completed withdrawal request is received 5 business days before the class begins for open enrollment courses. No refund is given after the class begins.

Creative Arts Academy

Ages 4–18
The Creative Arts Academy is Cuyahoga Community College’s preparatory program for pre-college students ages four to adult. We offer private and group lessons to students of all experience levels and backgrounds. Students study with distinguished faculty artists who are passionate about determining students’ needs and strengths, and maximizing those to provide the most rewarding experience possible.

Nuts and Bolts Academy

Ages 11–17
The Nuts and Bolts Academy offers students at multiple grade levels the opportunity to participate in fun, educational experiences. Programming is available year-round during the fall, spring and summer semesters. The camps introduce students to manufacturing and engineering through innovative, hands-on STEAM — science, technology, engineering, art and math — activities.

Theatre Workshop

Grades 9–12
The School of Creative Arts at Tri-C invites high school students (grades nine through 12) to participate in a two‑week Summer Theatre Workshop focused on foundational performance training. Students engage in the structured study of voice, movement and acting methodology while collaborating on the rehearsal and presentation of a one‑act play. The program is designed to promote artistic discipline, ensemble skills and college readiness within the performing arts.

Tri-C JazzFest Academy

Ages 12–18
JazzFest Academy Summer Camp participants have the opportunity to play in big band, small groups, and jam sessions; visit with national JazzFest artists; and attend Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland performances. Camp culminates in a series of featured performances during JazzFest weekend. All experience levels welcome.
