Eric Shelton is the Student Accessibility Services advisor for the Western Campus.
Shelton started his educational and occupational journey at Tri-C. He began working at Tri-C in 2005 and has previously served as a work-study student, office assistant and instructional assistant. He is dedicated and committed to advocating for students with disabilities.
Shelton is a proud first-generation college graduate, earning bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. He enjoys spending his spare time with his family, hiking in Ohio's state parks, cooking, grilling and eating.

Matt Rimar is a dedicated educator and passionate advocate for student empowerment. Originally from Warren, Ohio, he is a proud first-generation college graduate, holding a bachelor's degree in special education from Youngstown State University. He later earned a master's degree in athletic administration from Ohio University, combining his interest in education, athletics and leadership.
Now based in Cleveland for nearly a decade, Rimar has become an active contributor to the city's educational community. Since September 2024, he has served as a student advisor for Student Accessibility Services (SAS) at the Eastern Campus. Prior to joining SAS, he worked as a student liaison with the TRIO Educational Talent Search program. His career in education began as an intervention specialist with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.

Lisa Husamadeen is a passionate student advisor for Student Accessibility Services at the Metropolitan Campus. With over 15 years of experience, she is dedicated to supporting students through accommodations and advocacy. A licensed professional counselor, Husamadeen holds a master's degree in education with a focus on school and community mental health counseling.
Outside of work, she volunteers with nonprofits, enjoys traveling, and values time with family and friends. Her mission is to help individuals overcome barriers and access opportunities for growth and success.
Lydia Hickman, Student Advisor (Westshore Campus)

Lydia Hickman is an accessibility professional who recently moved Fairfield, Iowa. She earned her CPACC through the International Association of Accessibility Professionals and has a communications background. Hickman has served as a Safe Zone advisor on the Westshore Campus since September 2024.
Mandy Gawne, Office Assistant (Western Campus)

Mandy Gawne is a former early childhood educator dedicated to supporting all students and creating a safe and welcoming learning environment. She holds her bachelor's degree in education and her master's degree in literacy from Baldwin Wallace University.
Before her time at Tri-C, Gawne was a classroom teacher with a strong focus on English and language arts. She has been an office assistant at Tri-C since January 2023 and enjoys helping students advocate for themselves.
Outside of work, she enjoys live music, photography and reading.

Gale Hesin's first career started in Ukraine, where she served as an IRS auditor for community industrial companies. She is fluent in Russian, Ukrainian and English, and she is highly enthusiastic about data technology, finance and budgeting initiatives.
Hesin is a Tri-C alumna and holds a business management degree from Tiffin University. She finds great satisfaction in working with Tri-C students, staff and faculty at the College and is excited to engage with others to enhance students' educational experiences. She takes great pride in the achievements of her two wonderful daughters in their personal lives and careers. Additionally, she loves reading, exploring new cultures, traveling to various destinations, and cooking meals for family and friends.

Evelyn Anderson is an alumna of the Tri-C Eastern Campus, where she was a first-generation college graduate, earning an Associate of Arts degree. She continued her education, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership from Bellevue University.
Anderson's passion is people, especially Tri-C's students. She wants every student who walks through the office doors to feel like they can accomplish anything. It has often been said, "She has never met a stranger." She lives by the belief, "We can't help everyone, but everyone can help someone."
When not working at Tri-C, Anderson enjoys family gatherings, cooking, baking, traveling and singing in the church choir.
