About the Photography Program:
The Photography Program prepares students for the constantly evolving profession of photography. The creative and challenging curriculum is designed to help build the foundation of knowledge and skills necessary to express yourself using images. This program prepares students to enter a broad range of photographic careers in editorial, advertising, corporate communications, wedding and portrait photography, digital imaging and technical lab services.

The Photography Curriculum:
The curriculum is based on professional imaging standards and practices in a rapidly changing field. Emphasis on development of the visual, technical and business skills required in today’s market enables our graduates to respond effectively to the changing demands of our multimedia communications environment.

Experience is gained through frequent opportunities to interact with professionals during studio visits, guest lectures, portfolio reviews, workshops, internships and cooperative education opportunities.

Our Faculty brings real-world, professional experience to the classroom with their diverse and published works. 

Our  facilities offer the latest equipment in an environment that encourages exploration of new technology, collaboration and conceptual thinking with an emphasis on understanding the narrative possibilities of image making. Tri-C’s program is recognized throughout Ohio for its commitment to the highest standards of photographic education.
