YWCA Greater Cleveland presents Claire Rosacco with honor
CLEVELAND — A Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) vice president was recognized as a YWCA Woman of Achievement for her career success, community service, leadership, mentoring and dedication to YWCA's mission.
YWCA Greater Cleveland honored Claire Rosacco, Tri-C's vice president of Government Relations and Community Outreach, as part of its 2025 Women of Achievement Awards Celebration. The event took place on June 4 at the Severance Music Center in Cleveland.
In her role at Tri-C, Rosacco cultivates relationships with government officials at all levels and fosters community partnerships on behalf of the College. She is a member of the American Association of Community Colleges' national advocacy committee.
Rosacco has also received the College President's Award from Tri-C and the Edwin Crawford Award for Innovation from the Council for Advancement and Support for Education for leading the charge in Ohio to allow community colleges to invest in mutual funds. This initiative has led to millions of dollars annually for institutions' investment portfolios.
Rosacco graduated from The Ohio State University and worked for Cleveland Mayor George Voinovich as a press secretary.
The Women of Achievement Academy boasts over 250 past honorees, all of whom are esteemed leaders, movers and shakers impacting businesses and communities across Northeast Ohio. This year, nine women were selected to receive the award.
