Tri-C Robotics Team Wins Regional Competition in Alabama
CLEVELAND — The Youth Technology Academy FIRST Robotics Team 120 of Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) recently won the Rocket City Regional in Huntsville, Alabama. This marks Team 120's first regional win since taking the World Championship in 2016.
The Tri-C/NASA Team 120 includes 16 high school students from nine Cleveland-area schools. The students take classes at Tri-C in robotics, soldering, drones, CAD and more through the College Credit Plus program.
The team is a NASA Glenn "house team." NASA Glenn and Rockwell Automation engineers act as team mentors.
Team 120 will compete for a state title at the FIRST® in Ohio Robotics State Championship on May 16 in Columbus.
