Tri-C Performing Arts Series Opens Sept. 10 Featuring Syncopated Ladies Live!

HIGHLAND HILLS — The 2026–2027 season of the Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) Performing Arts Series, which brings world-class artistic experiences to Greater Cleveland, kicks off with a night of rhythm, power and pure joy when Syncopated Ladies Live! takes the stage at the Eastern Campus.
Syncopated Ladies Live! is an electrifying, deeply moving 80-minute multimedia experience that leaves audiences feeling inspired and empowered. The production showcases a dynamic ensemble of women with unique stories who come together with powerhouse vocals and fierce footwork to celebrate resilience, confidence, joy and tap dance.
The show takes place on Sept. 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the Simon and Rose Mandel Theatre. Tickets are on sale for $30 if purchased in advance or $35 the day of the performance.
Dancing to today's hottest sounds — including pop, hip-hop, salsa, R&B and soulful ballads — the Syncopated Ladies deliver breathtaking performances packed with what they proudly call "Black Girl Magic."
Founded by Emmy-nominated choreographer Chloé Arnold, the Syncopated Ladies have made history by redefining tap dance and amassed over 200 million views online. Mentored by Debbie Allen, they have worked with other global icons such as Beyoncé and Will Smith. Their credits span major films and television appearances, including Good Morning America, CNN's New Year's Eve, Mariah Carey's Merry Christmas to All, Bel-Air, The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Ellen Show, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Jerry Seinfeld's Unfrosted (Netflix), and Spirited starring Will Ferrell, Ryan Reynolds and Octavia Spencer (Apple TV+).
