Tri-C Names Chief Administrative Officer of Brunswick University Center
Cameron Redden aims to strengthen its presence and impact in Medina County
BRUNSWICK — Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) has appointed Cameron Redden, Ed.D., as chief administrative officer of the Brunswick University Center, marking a new chapter in the College's commitment to expanding higher education services and resources in Medina County.
Since opening in 2011, the Brunswick University Center has served as Tri-C's anchor in Medina County, which does not have its own community college. Given the strong demand for academic opportunities in Brunswick and the surrounding communities — reflected in the highest Tri-C enrollment by ZIP code — the College is poised to elevate the BUC's role as a comprehensive academic and community resource.
Redden, who also serves as the executive director of presidential initiatives and strategic management in the Office of the President, will efforts to enhance the Brunswick University Center's academic offerings and deepen its connections with regional businesses, industries and civic organizations. He will work closely with Brunswick University Center Director Elizabeth Zeszotek and Tri-C Executive-in-Residence Lee Friedman to identify new opportunities for growth and collaboration.
"The Brunswick University Center is a gateway to higher education for Medina County," said Redden. "We're excited to build on its foundation and create new opportunities and pathways for students and the community."
The timing aligns with the city's visionary master plan, which includes major investments in a new high school adjacent to the Brunswick University Center, as well as a new library, recreation center, green spaces and retail development.
Redden earned a B.A. in History from Hampton University, an M.A.Ed. from Baldwin Wallace University and an Ed.D. in Community College Leadership from Kansas State University.
The Brunswick University Center is located at 3605 Center Road in Brunswick, 44212. Learn more about the Brunswick University Center on the Tri-C website.
