Tri-C Named a Top College for Innovation

National honor awarded by Insight into Academia Magazine

Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) has been selected as a 2026 Top College for Innovation by Insight Into Academia magazine, a national honor celebrating institutions that are reshaping higher education through bold, collegewide innovation.  

The award recognizes colleges and universities nationwide for their ability to drive meaningful change across all departments and areas — linking strategy, operations, instruction, student services and community engagement to measurable outcomes. 

"We are thrilled to be named a 2026 Top College for Innovation," said Andrew Cox, Ph.D., the College's associate vice president of Strategy and Community Impact. "This award illustrates how each division and department at Tri-C is future-focused and committed to producing the best possible outcomes for all."

Tri-C's selection reflects a culture of continuous improvement and achievement, with teams collaborating to test new approaches, strengthen programs, and expand access to learning and career pathways.  

These innovations are made with the success of students in mind — guiding them to the successful completion of their studies and thriving-wage employment after graduation.  

This recognition highlights Tri-C's ongoing commitment to transforming the student experience and delivering results for Northeast Ohio's learners and employers.
