Tri-C JazzFest Seeks Volunteers for Festival Weekend
Applications are being accepted online through March 25
Become part of downtown’s hottest music festival by volunteering this summer at Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland, presented by KeyBank.
Applications will be accepted online through Sunday, March 25. A form on the site asks for basic information to align volunteer opportunities with the skills and interests of applicants.
Volunteer responsibilities include everything from distributing materials and working backstage to festival setup and teardown. Training may be required for some positions.
All volunteers – new and returning – must complete the application.
“Volunteers are the lifeblood of festivals like ours,” said Terri Pontremoli, the director of Tri-C JazzFest. “We need them and they enjoy the experience of being behind the scenes.”
The 39th annual Tri-C JazzFest runs June 28-30 at Playhouse Square. The festival includes eight ticketed concerts inside the theater district’s historic venues plus a full lineup of free outdoor shows, vendors and food.
Visit www.tri-cjazzfest.com for a schedule of ticketed shows. The 2018 lineup includes Common, Brian Simpson’s Smooth Jazz All Stars, Snarky Puppy, Joshua Redman, Terence Blanchard and others.
Festival passes — which offer VIP seating to all eight ticketed concerts plus other perks — are now on sale. The cost is $250, a $150 savings compared to buying single tickets to all eight shows. Call 216-640-8800 to purchase.
Individual tickets will go on sale April 2 through the Playhouse Square Box Office online and at 216-241-6000.
Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland is presented by KeyBank and made possible by Cuyahoga Community College, the National Endowment for the Arts, Ohio Arts Council, Strassman Insurance Services Inc. and a growing list of donors and members.
