Business Group names Tri-C's McNair Woman of the Year

Ronna McNair, executive director of the Center for Entrepreneurs at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C)’s Corporate College, has been named Woman of the Year by ECDI Women’s Business Center of Northern Ohio.

“Her work reflects a deep commitment to opportunity and inclusion — building an entrepreneurial ecosystem in Northeast Ohio where people from all backgrounds gain access to mentorship, resources, and the confidence to build lasting businesses,” the organization said.

In addition to her role at Tri-C, McNair is vice president of the Cleveland Public Library’s Foundation Board. She is the immediate past board chair of First Tee Cleveland, where she co-led the fundraising campaign that raised $2.5 million to complete its new activity center. She was also a 2022 YWCA Woman of Professional Excellence.

ECDI Women’s Business Center of Northern Ohio will honor McNair at a fundraiser Oct. 29.
