Career and Technical Education Scholarship
Tri-C partners with its high school colleagues to select students for the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Scholarship program based on excellence in scholarship, leadership, service and character. The College offers its students a faculty focused on teaching, learning and student success.
Scholarship Requirements:
- Be a 2026 CTE high school graduate
- Attending Tri-C as an incoming student in Fall 2026
- Be a resident of Cuyahoga County or a neighboring county (Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit)
- Earned a 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA in high school on a 4.0 scale
- Official high school transcript sent to Tri-C
- Must have completed a CTE high school program by Spring 2026
- Complete required Tri-C CTE Scholarship application questions (must be typed on a separate Word document)
- Completed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) after Oct. 1, 2025, for the 2026-2027 academic year
- OPTIONAL: Written letter of recommendation submitted from high school faculty or administrator
Scholarships are a one-time award of up to $2,500.
Scholarships are only awarded for the fall and spring semesters with the expectation that you will start in the fall.
All applicants should complete the Tri-C CTE Scholarship application and all the scholarship requirements listed above by April 30, 2026. Screenshots of completed applications will not be accepted. Please email your application submissions.
The selection process will begin as early as June 2026. The funds will be awarded until scholarships are exhausted.
