More than 1,000 credit courses are offered each semester in more than 200 career and technical programs. Tri-C also grants short-term certificates, certificates of proficiency and post-degree professional certificates.
Tri-C's Workforce Training provides both non-credit and credit training for individuals and businesses to assist individuals with skills leading to employment. Tri-C's Corporate College provides professional development and corporate training opportunities.
Tri-C offers a variety of affordable and convenient community programs for both adults and youth. These programs are designed to promote individual development.
SnapShops are short, interactive mini-workshops designed to be delivered in person or synchronously to groups of faculty. SnapShops can be scheduled for existing meetings (i.e., departmental meetings, onboarding/orientation events, Campus Day) or organized independently by a group of five or more faculty.
An individual SnapShop is approximately 15 minutes. SnapShops can be combined to create a customizable learning experience. Simply select as many SnapShops as you like! You may choose from the same or different learning tracks (see below).
Your SnapShop experience will be led by a member of the Instructional Design and Learning Excellence Team and can be scheduled on-demand. You can expect a highly interactive, engaging and dynamic workshop that models active learning strategies.

Brightspace offers flexibility in course organization, but all of the options can be overwhelming! Learn about various course structure options, how these choices impact students, and some best practices for creating structure and organizing course content. You'll walk away with ideas to improve your own course structure while taking advantage of Brightspace features.

SoftChalk is an e-learning authoring tool provided by Tri-C that allows faculty to create interactive lessons to engage students and gather formative assessment data. PlayPosit
PlayPosit lets you stitch together videos and other content while making a fun, interactive learning experience for students. It's easy to use, and it integrates with Brightspace! You'll walk away with an understanding of how PlayPosit works and how to work with the ID Team to get started.

How to Request a SnapShop
Please review the learning tracks and specific SnapShop topics. When you are ready to schedule, please fill out the SnapShop Request Form by selecting the button below. To assist with scheduling and planning, please submit your request form at least three weeks in advance.
In most cases, SnapShops will be delivered as part of existing meetings or events, which are either required or for which faculty are already receiving credit. For independently scheduled events, faculty must complete at least three SnapShops to earn one SEU.
