Overview

The 2026 Adjunct Faculty Conference, "The Anchor and the Sail: Stability, Direction and Growth for the Modern Adjunct Educator," focuses on faculty enhancing their teaching practices to support student success. Our annual conference promotes professional development for college faculty across the state of Ohio and beyond. By exploring the teaching and learning landscape, we will find transformative ways to support students, faculty, staff and administration as they navigate the evolving landscape of higher education.

Tri-C adjunct faculty are eligible to receive two SEUs toward the Adjunct Development and Professional Training (ADAPT) program for attending the full conference.

We're excited to welcome our keynote speaker, James M. Frame, a Gallup-Certified strengths coach, who will open the conference with a powerful session titled "Learning by Design: Unlocking Your Teaching DNA."

Frame brings the insight of CliftonStrengths (formerly StrengthsFinder) into every room he teaches, using its principles to help educators understand their natural talents, elevate their confidence, and strengthen the way they show up in the classroom.
