In-Person Commencement Regalia and Attire
Cap, gown, tassel and stole are the official regalia that must be worn by all graduates participating in an in-person ceremony. You may purchase your cap, gown (stole included) and colored tassel at your campus Barnes & Noble bookstore.
Bookstore associates will be at Byers Field on the day of the ceremony for any last-minute adjustments needed to students’ graduation apparel.
Appropriate dress is required under your gown. Please wear comfortable dress shoes, dress pants with a collared shirt (tie optional), a skirt with a blouse, or a dress. Please arrive at Byers Field wearing your graduation regalia. Graduates may not march in the processional with personal belongings (e.g. purses, coats). Please leave these items at home or with guests, as storage is not available.
Virtual Ceremony
A virtual ceremony will be held for all students at 7 p.m. It will be accessible from the Commencement webpage and the College’s YouTube channel.
Regalia is not required for virtual ceremony participants; however, it is available for purchase as a keepsake through Barnes & Noble.
