- Support students by offering experiential learning opportunities
- Internships consist of 100 hours of work between May 26 and August 7, 2020
- All students receive $11/hour and are compensated through Tri-C
- Background check and drug screening conducted by Tri-C
Student Eligibility Criteria
- At least 18 years old
- Currently enrolled at Tri-C with plans to register for Fall 2020 classes
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
- Successfully complete pre-employment background check and drug testing
Host/Employer Responsibilities
- Submit Job Description no later than Friday December 6, 2019
- Attend an info session Tuesday February 11, 2020 to learn about role, timelines and next steps
- Attend one of two speed-networking internship fairs. Save the Date - Friday, March 6, 2020 at Metropolitan Campus or Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Western Campus
- Host an intern between May 26 and August 7, 2020 for 100 hours of work (suggested schedule - 20 hours per week for five weeks or 10 hours per week for 10 weeks)
- Provide workspace, meaningful work, and learning experiences
- Provide supervision, coaching, feedback and support
- Provide feedback and complete final evaluation of student
