"The Youth Technology Academy provides EQUITY in ACCESS to TECHNOLOGY for all students. YTA broadens students’ perceptions of their own abilities, builds their academic confidence, and increases their knowledge of STEM careers. "

The Youth Technology Academy is where your student will earn college credit in a STEM-based career path while still in high school. YTA is a one-of-a-kind program designed to train high school students for the technical workforce.  Our program gives students the opportunity to design and build a robot, learn programming and coding with drones, and enroll in really exciting classes. We also offer:

  • College Credit
  • No Cost for Tuition or Books
  • Tutoring
  • Join a Robotics Team – VEX, FIRST
  • Travel Opportunities through STEM Competitions
  • 24/7 RTA Pass each semester

The Youth Technology Academy has two team options from which students can choose. Our Varsity FIRST Robotics Team 120 and our VEX Team. Both teams provide students with engineering experience, the guidance of industry mentors, and the fun of competition. Team participation allows students to:

  • Earn College Credit while in High School
  • Gain Programming Skills
  • Enhance Math Skills
  • Enhance Technical Skills
  • Travel and Meet Students Just Like You Across the Nation and Even Internationally
  • Have Fun in a Safe and Innovative Environment
