Enrollment Steps

In order to be accepted into the Early Childhood Education program at Cuyahoga Community College you must complete the steps for enrollment in the following order.

Step 1:

Enrollment Request

Step 2:

Once you complete the Enrollment Request form you will receive your checklist to complete enrollment into the program. This step needs to be successfully completed before registration and department approval can be done.

Background Check Information

A background check is no longer required before entry into the program.

However, as part of the ECED 1010 Introduction to Early Childhood Education, students will be required to complete a BCI/FBI check at an approved ODJFS site. Social Security card and picture ID will be required for the Webcheck background process to be completed. Students under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Concerned about your Background Check?

This form will tell you everything you need to know about what offenses ODJFS will not approve. This form will also tell you what offenses will be allowed after a certain period of time has lapsed with no further offenses being committed.
