Adult Diploma Program

As the situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, Cuyahoga Community College is taking proactive steps to ensure the safety and health of the Collegewide community and our visitors. 

The Adult Diploma Program (ADP) is now part of Tri-C Ohio Options for Adults. Programs include Adult Diploma and Aspire. Our goal is to provide the best experience to support your success. 

Adult Diploma Program Requirements

  • Age 22 or older
  • Ohio resident 
  • Eighth-grade reading level
  • Score 14 or higher on the WorkKeys assessment
  • At least five hours a week to commit to the program
  • No valid high school or high school equivalency diploma

Orientation

You must attend an Ohio Options for Adults orientation session before entering the program. During the orientation, you will be assessed to see if you meet program requirements. If you do not, we will provide classes to increase your academic skills so that you can enter ADP with the skills you need to succeed.

You will receive a confirmation email that includes the date and time of your orientation, as well as information on when you will receive a phone call to complete orientation.

You must have internet access and a desktop computer, laptop or smartphone to complete orientation and attend virtual classes. If you do not have internet access and/or any of the devices listed above, you will not be able to participate at this time. Check the website periodically for the status of our orientation process, or call 216-987-0610 for more information.

When you register, choose Virtual Orientation. A second location will appear. Choose which orientation location you want.  If there is an in person orientation, choose the city of the orientation.  Choose the orientation you want in the second location.

East/Metro Virtual Orientation

You will receive a text and email after April 13. Orientation will be on Saturday, April 17 at 10 a.m.
