Aspire Academic Classes

Orientation
Tri-C Ohio Options Alert: Tri-C Aspire remains open for business. To safeguard Tri-C Aspire students and combat the spread of COVID-19, all Aspire classes will take place online. See the “How to Reach Us” section at the end of this webpage for phone and email contacts.
Our academic classes are for people who want to:
- Improve their math, reading and writing skills (high school graduates welcome!)
- Prepare for the Official High School Equivalency (GED® and HiSET) test
- Transition to a job, training or college
- Get a career credential
Aspire is for adults age 16 and older who have skills below college level. Our free classes take place at different times during the week all over Cuyahoga County.
If you are 16 or 17 years old, please review age requirements for the Official GED® test on the Ohio Department of Education website.
You must have internet access and a desktop computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone to complete orientation and attend our virtual classes. If you do not have internet access and/or any of the devices listed above, you will not be able to participate at this time.

Participants must complete orientation in order to begin classes. Click the red “Register for Orientation” button below to register for an orientation session.
You will receive a confirmation email that includes details on your orientation session and information on when you will receive a phone call to complete orientation.

Register for Orientation
When registering, choose Virtual Orientation. A second location will appear. Choose which orientation location you want. For an orientation session that includes career training, choose Orientation and Career Training Class.
SUMMER ORIENTATIONS WILL BE OPEN IN MAY.
Thank you for your interest in the Aspire program at Cuyahoga Community College. We help students strengthen their academic skills and build confidence so that they can achieve their educational and career goals. Our classes are offered at the Eastern, Metro and Western campuses and other locations throughout Cuyahoga County. Click here for information about the Adult Diploma Program.
