Infrastructure Maintenance Projects
Infrastructure maintenance projects allow the College to care for and maintain its current facilities, ensuring students, faculty and staff have a safe, clean and comfortable environment in which to learn and work. These projects include parking and roadway repairs; window replacements; grounds maintenance; concrete replacements; safety, security and fire system replacements and upgrades; Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance projects; and mechanical, electrical and plumbing projects.
Ongoing through 2024
- The Metro Campus track will be closed for renovations through August 2019.
- The Corporate College West paver replacement project began on May 8 and will continue through mid-July 2019.
- MTC Lot 7 resurfacing began May 28. The lot will be inaccessible through July 10. Seal coat and striping of Lot 8 will begin July 11. This lot will be inaccessible from July 11-24.
- Rehabilitation work on the Metro Recreation Center Ramp will begin June 5. Access to the Recreation Center will be maintained through the north stair entrance at the corner of E. 30th Street and Community College Avenue. Accessibility entrances will be maintained at the North Concourse and via the ramp from the E. 30th Street sidewalk. This work will continue through July 2.
